Mr. Fifty Shades

So enamoured with my Fifty was I that my first twitter handle, and way of introducing myself to the world, was @I_heart_Fifty. Using this name, I laid my feelings for Fifty on the table from the get go. He was, and still is, the Master of my Universe.

From the first moment Bella met Edward in his office, she a shy student, he an overbearing, umm, bastard - Icy's story had my heart. From him buying her clothes after she puked everywhere, to their wedding, honeymoon, future... I just freaking love this couple.

I love that he is sweet and endearing, even with his troubles. I love that Bella learns to understand his ways and, through her occasional frustration, loves him for who he is. I love Snowqueens Icedragon's writing style, her way with words... ooh, and her lemons.

I remember being a little reluctant when I first heard about MotU because of the 'playroom' scenes. I wasn't sure at all if this would be my cup of tea. Best way to sum up my feelings now? Best be putting those playroom jeans on, Edward, top button undone, no shirt, bare feet. Meet me in the playroom, five minutes?

Oh, um, sorry. I get a little sidetracked...

I was so excited when I heard that Icy is publishing Fifty Shades of Grey. The write up describes the trilogy as "a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever." If you haven't read Master of the Universe, I highly recommend you buy the book. You will not be sorry... I will certainly be picking up a copy!

So, Icy, thank you so much. Thank you for finding the time in your really busy life to write 116 chapters that have made me laugh, cry, squeal and gasp. Thank you for giving us this fabulous story. I really hope you know just how much this fandom loves and respects you. Best of luck with being a published author. x
