I've been tagged...

During my week or so of RL-induced blog absence, KiTT from Tongue-Twied tagged me. Unfortunately, I was reading my emails whilst intoxicated (oops) and managed to permanently delete her questions. So, I've had a wee peek at tag posts from KiTT, Lisa, and Robmusement - and merged the three together to gather these questions.

Name a song that feels like it was written for/about you.
Hmmm. Tricky. Romeo & Juliet by Dire Straits has been my favourite, forever. I'm not really one for hugely meaningful lyrics, generally prefer the whole package (tee hee hee) and this song really floats my boat. Also, Slow Dancing in a Burning Room by John Mayer. John is sex on legs and anything he sings melts me - but especially good. Highly recommend as a good song to bump and grind to - that's unless you get hung up on lyrics, again. Can you tell I'm a guitar girl? Playing the guitar is on my perfect man wish-list... but that's another topic. (hint: playing 'Never Think' is pretty much the key to my door, jftr).

What would your pirate name be?
This is a great question. Given that Captain Feathersword is already taken, I'm gonna go with Captain Anne Rackham. This may sound random, but check out www.piratequiz.com - so funny. This has me thinking about Pirates of the Caribbean... ooh, Johnny. Ahem. Sorry... where was I?

What is the nicest thing a stranger has ever done for you?
Probably lend me change for the parking meter or something like that... Although I live in hope that a grand gesture from the Man of My Dreams will happen at any minute and sweep me off my feet. I best not hold my breath.

Heels or Flats?
Flats - most of the time. Kitten heels are my favourite, although I do have a couple of pairs of killer heels. I call these my 'car to bar' shoes as there is no way I can stand/dance in them all night, strictly for sit-down evenings only. Although, I do feel extra hot and sexy when I wear them.

What is the favorite spot (aside from Forks) that you've ever visited?
Living in New Zealand,  I'm aware that I'm spoiled for choice when it comes to natural beauty, and I could fill an entire blog with holiday snapshots. I have also lived in the UK and travelled extensively in Europe and through Africa. So this is a tricky question! I'll just restrict it to a couple of snaps:

Nungwi Beach, Zanzibar Island, Tanzania. Incredible!

Cobb Valley, Nelson Lakes, South Island, New Zealand
Would you rather live by the sea or in the mountains?
As you can see from above, I'm a fan of both! I am also very fortunate to have relatively easy access to both. I'll alwasy be a beach gal at heart though, and when I'm filthy rich, plan to have a holiday home on a remote beach somewhere in NZ where there's almost no one else. Can't wait.

What was your worst ever nightmare?
The only recurring dream I've ever had - about my father dying. Thank goodness I haven't had the dream for a very long time and he's fit and well. I love my Dad so much. (and my Mum too, of course).

What did you dream of becoming when you were growing up?
Interestingly, a chef or a pharmacist. Definitely not a nurse - which is where I ended up. Kind of ironic that it was the idea of shiftwork that put me off being a chef - not sure what hours I thought nurses kept!

What's your favourite fruit?
Can I say lemons?? Loves me some fanfic citrus..... but seriously, strawberries! I have some in my garden right now, just waiting for the fruit to ripen.

Which booze do you always have at your house?
In the summer: beer, wine, bacardi, vodka... oh dear. This sounds bad! (I live alone). At the moment, current favourite are Mojitos - lime, mint, bacardi, soda water. Mmmmmmm. In fact, I might go make one right now...

Mojito - a beach holiday in a glass.
Did you ever ride on a horse?
Yes. Once. I was 12. I fell off and cut my foot, needing a tetanus shot. I've never been back on a horse and nor do I intend to. You're either a horse person or not - and I am definitely not.

What's your favorite reality tv show?
I'm one of those people who claims not to like reality TV - but secretly does. Some shows, not all. I can't stand any of the 'let me tell you how to live your life' shit - Supernanny et al; or the home/wardrobe makeover ones. I do, however, rather like a bit of Idol/X-Factor/...got Talent ones. We get mostly Australian ones here, but US and occasionally UK ones too. For shows like that, I love the first audition shows with the comedic value, and then tend to skip to the last few 'live show' episodes.

Roller coasters--with upside down loops or without?
With! Definitely! My experience is relatively limited (only one rollercoaster in NZ and it's shite) but I loved the upside down one I went on in Australia a few years back.

What song do you hope is playing when Bella walks down the stairs/aisle in Breaking Dawn?
Bella's Lullaby. I heart that song SO much.

I'd walk towards this. Oh yes I would.
Who would you bet money on would be the first Twilight star to win an Oscar?
I'm gonna go with Kristen. As much as I have dissed her in the past - the girl can act. Not so much as Bella, but from what little I've seen of her other stuff, I rate her. Welcome to the Rileys looks good, and I can't wait for Runaways to come out here on DVD - missed it at the movies.

Well sheesh, that's quite enough from me! Consider yourself tagged if you're reading this, and here are a few questions from me:

1. What's your favourite (non-twilight, non-Rob) movie of all time, and why?
2. Where's the most far-away place you've ever gone on holiday (Or vacation - if you're American)
3. Have you ever been in a natural disaster? Details please.
4. What's your favourite meal?
5. Live music or pre-recorded? What's your favourite album? (apart from the twi-soundtracks)
