I've now been in the US of A for six days and I am loving every minute. This is the first time I have had a chance to get online properly so now to try and recap a few highlights of the trip so far for you...
I arrived in San Diego on Saturday after a fucking AGE in the air with no leg room, shite food and ZERO sleep. Fortunately I did have Robkowski for company, which helped, a little.
I was met at the airport by the GORGEOUS @TwiredJen. I LOVE THIS GIRL! She is even more amazeballs in person than online, as if that was even possible. Jen and her family have been SUPER welcoming to me and I have loved every minute of spending time with them. But I'm getting ahead of myself...
Jen and I went to meet @Elusive_S (sister Sarah) for a drink after I'd had a chance to 'freshen up'... I use that term lightly as with zero sleep in over thirty hours there was not much that could be freshened with anything less than 12 hours sleep. Hence there are no photos of me at this point!

Sunday was Jen's bridal shower. She is getting married to the awesome DG at the end of September and it was a privledge to be invited to her shower. I had a chance to meet all her wonderful friends and family and have a LOT of laughs when it came to gift-opening time! Jen has posted about it here.

| Kiwi Ed met Mini E and they had a good time. I think they may have had a little too much champagne. |
We then had an after-party on the lawn with drinks into the sunset, which was so much fun. Jen and Sarah have the nicest family EVER! I felt right at home and caught myself thinking that not 24 hours previously I had never met any of the people I was with - unbelievable. It was incredible. Thanks Jen!

On Monday, Jen hooked me up with a free ticket to the San Diego Trolley Tour. If you ever come here, you gotta do this! It was an all-day hop on, hop off tour and I had a great time. I LOVE THIS CITY. I could go on and on all day, but instead I'll show you some pics I took:

| Kiwi Ed LOVED the trolley tour. And was very well behaved, for once. |
If you know me well, you know I'm a photo addict. I have seriously taken hundreds, so it's really hard to only find a few to share. Maybe one day back home I'll do some kind of online album.
Monday night, Jen and I had a girls night. PJs, pizza, a bottle of NZ wine and TWILIGHT! It was so much fun. And so surreal, felt like we've known each other forever. Tuesday morning I was off on the next step of my adventure.... road trip to Vegas! But that's another story.
